Recording Terms & Conditions

When client makes a Recording purchase via Playground Productions Studio’s (PPS) website (including live recordings), client agrees to the following:

Deposit:

  1. Half of the total is due immediately to reserve.
  2. If a band/group pays solo artist amount, band/group will owe PPS a difference upon arrival, as the cost for recording solo and bands/groups is not the same. If difference, along with any remaining balance is not paid upon arrival, your session will be terminated and no refunds will be given for any paid fees.
  3. IMPORTANT: Please do not overbook., as any unused time over 2 hours will not be applied towards mastering or refunded.

Final Payment:

  1. Balance is due the day of your scheduled session. If payment is not received on arrival, you will lose your session and we will retain your deposit.
  2. If you have less than 2 hours of paid time you didn’t use for recording,  that can be applied towards mastering or refunded. Anything unused time over 2 hours is lost, as we lose business when our studio is overbooked.
  3. Please note that additional rates may apply. You may go over more recording time than you paid for that will be owed and any additional time spent on mastering will be owed.

Cancellation/No Show:

  1. Less than 72 Hours Notice:
    • PPS will retain 100 percent of deposit or any other paid amounts. This also applies if you scheduled less than 72 hours in advance. Funds will not be transferred to a future session.
  2. Cancellations must be received via telephone at 317-678-7529 in order to receive any applicable refunds. If PPS does not answer, please leave a detailed voicemail.

Venue Rental & Wedding Reception Rental Terms & Conditions

When client makes a Venue Rental or Wedding Reception purchase via PPS website, client agrees to the following:

Deposit:

  1. No Cash Bar:
    • Half of the total is due to reserve.
  2. With a Cash Bar:
    • Full payment is due to reserve.

Final Payment:

  1. Balance is due the day of event, one hour prior to scheduled start time. If payment is not provided prior to event, you will lose your deposit and the event will be cancelled.

Cancellation/No Show:

  1. Less than 24 Hours Notice:
    • PPS will retain 100 percent of deposit and any other paid fees. Note: Funds do not transfer if rescheduled.
  2. Cancellations must be received via telephone at 317-678-7529 in order to receive any applicable refunds. If PPS does not answer, please leave a detailed voicemail.

Room Rental Terms & Conditions

When a client makes a Room Rental purchase via PPS website, client agrees to the following:

Payment:

  1. Full payment is due immediately to reserve room rental.

Cancellation/No Show:

  1. Less than 72 Hours Notice:
    • PPS will retain 100 percent of deposit and any other paid fees. This also applies if you scheduled  less than 72 hours in advance. Note: Funds do not transfer if rescheduled.

Rehearsal Terms & Conditions

Regular Rehearsals

When client makes a Rehearsal purchase via PPS website, client agrees to the following:

Payment:

  1. Full payment is due immediately to reserve rehearsal.

Cancellation/No Show:

  1. Less than 72 Hours Notice/No Show:
    • PPS will retain 100 percent of paid rehearsal fee. This also applies if you scheduled less than 72 hours in advance.Note: Funds do not transfer if rescheduled.
  2. Cancellations must be received via telephone at 317-678-7529 in order to receive any applicable refunds. If PPS does not answer, please leave a detailed voicemail.

Rehearsal Packages

When client makes a Rehearsal Package purchase via Playground Productions Studio’s (PPS) website, client agrees to the following:

  1. Packages expire in 30 days. Unused time is lost and will not rollover to another month.
  2. Rehearsal time is scheduled on a first come, first serve basis. There is a 1-hour minimum.
  3. Cancellations must be received via telephone/voicemail at 317-678-7529.
  4. If cancellation with less than 72 hours notice, the same day or there is a no show, PPS will deduct the full amount of hours scheduled from overall package hours.
  5. One band/group per package. Multiple bands/groups may not split or share a package.

Studio Late Policy

When a client makes any purchase via PPS website, client agrees to the following:

  1. If client does not show up at scheduled start time, time late is time lost.
  2. If client wishes to extend session/rental, client must pay for additional time. If the space and/or staff is unavailable for an extension, session/rental will end at agreed upon time and you will not be refunded any time you were late.
  3. You will not be allotted complimentary load in/load out time or set up/tear down time if late. Time used for load in/load out or set up/tear down will be deducted from remaining rental time.

Refunds

If you qualify for a refund, please note:

  • Any applicable refund will be processed by PPS in 24-48 hours and dependent upon banking institution, it could take an additional 3-5 business days to process.
